I am overwhelmed with gratitude to our incredible community!!! About 2 weeks ago, after volunteering at the Rose Garden Home Mission for their Thanksgiving give away, @trelohre noticed that the mission was quite low on winter coats and shoes for the families and children that they help. So low in fact, there was not enough coats for all of those that needed them. .

He decided to do something about it and reached out first to our family and neighbors with letters and then through facebook to our community. Well, the Lord has certainly worked wonders! After many hours of pick up and sorting, he has his first total... To date, Tre has collected 184 COATS and 125+ pairs of shoes in addition to tons of clothing, hats, gloves and scarves. So much in fact that it completely filled 2 car loads!

I am in awe how incredibly generous and thoughtful everyone has been!!! Because of the support of such amazing, giving people, there are children and families that are hurting in our community that will be a bit warmer this winter. .

THANK YOU just does not seem adequate. God is clearly at work and it fills my heart with joy to see this outpouring of support. And thank you @cch_colonels for making service to others a quality that is fostered!

If you would like to donate and are in the area there is still time. Tre would love to break the 200 mark with winter coats. If you have gently used or new coats that you would like to donate, let me know!
