Life is wonderful 🏝
I don't want to start this week with a boo, it's Monday post. Instead, I'm about to ➡spend 30 minutes writing down my #1 goal to achieve before Friday rolls around and ➡what steps I'm going to take to make this happen. 🛐My most successful endeavours have been accomplished by meditating on the subject daily (or at least often). This includes envisioning myself being crowned #wbffchampion! Twice! A few years ago, back in 2013, I did not used to call this prayer or meditation. I just did it without thinking. My daydreams☁ during contest prep cardio💦 sessions not only were to thank for my creative themewear ideas, but pushed me to train harder because my goal of 💥rocking💥 the runway was clear and unwavering. 👠👙👑 I would also pause halfway through my outdoor bike rides or rollerblades atop the Red River Bridge, stretching slightly before imagining myself standing centre-stage at the #thewbff, not only enjoying my t-walk but literally allowing myself to experience the announcement of 3rd place, runner-up and #champion (me!). It may sound cheesy but it is AMAZING for confidence boosting. I was working SO hard, it was extremely difficult everyday, but that belief that I *could* come out on top was joyful and gave me energy to continue fighting.
Learn to include meditation 🙏 daily if you want to become a dreamer who goes for it! 👊
