Slow days at the cabin on the coast with Nora.

A morning spent studying boats. ⚓️

A weekend spent in the wild with this gem (@caleyvanular) chasing waves and getting lost in the forest. 🌺

Spring harvest over the fire. An evening well spent with friends. ✨

Today was out of a dream. A sunshine covered, friend-filled, turquoise water sprinkled, hint of mezcal flavoured perfect day dream. Lucky to call this little peninsula home. 🌺 Here’s to more days like this one.

Slow mornings in Nicaragua.

Warning! A lot of words coming.Thankful to live in a community where Earth Day is celebrated everyday, through organizations and people who focus on ending plastic pollution. Lately, I’ve travelled to some incredible destinations including this surf resort in Nicaragua. While this resort was breathtaking, this is one beach in a country of many other coastlines with massively visible plastic issues. 🌎🌍 Travelling responsibly means educating yourself on the companies and places you are visiting. As photographers, this means working with companies that align with your environmental ethics. Flor de Caña is actively trying to minimize the plastic impact on their country, a country where plastic is found on every street and many coastlines. They save 22 million gallons of oil per year by distilling with 100% renewable energy in addition to recycling over 76,000 pounds of plastic per year. #EarthDay #EarthDay2018
In other hard news, Nicaragua is currently going through massive civil unrest and anti-government protests that are devastating. My thoughts are with this beautiful country and the people in it who are going through this. I hope that resolutions can happen peacefully. If you are travelling there, and have any questions about visiting Nicaragua please feel free to DM me.

Hello, Nicaragua! 🌺 Waking up to a view like this is out of my wildest dreams. Celebrating the beauty of this incredible country with Flor de Caña, travelling through lush forests, beaches with perfect point breaks, and drinking amazing @flordecanacanada cocktails along the way. Checking off a visit to Central America from my travel bucket list, I could not wait to discover and explore every inch of this country.

Taking a portrait every day this year has been rewarding and humbling. 🌻 Meeting small business owners in my community, and new friends around the world has pushed my boundaries to places that I didn’t know existed. Excited to keep these going, push through the days where creativity feels like an impossible reach, and form meaningful relationships with the people behind my lens. Day 92 with Bailey, a wonderful new friend in my hometown. #portraitproject2018 #makeportraits

Coastal getaways for the weekend. A dream cabin in Iceland.

In another world driving through the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland 🌊

La luna before she tucked away and let the sun come out to play. A view to remember from the lava fields in front of the Blue Lagoon.
