The nasturtiums in our community garden plot are growing like crazy so I threw them in tonight's roasted squash panzanella (à la Joshua McFadden).

The annual trip with friends to Canciamilla Ranch in Brentwood. Nectarines eaten in the field: 3. Nectarines eaten at home: 2. Nectarines in the crumble currently baking in the oven: 10.

This is the fish sandwich. Right now, the cafe that serves it has one name during the week, and another on weekends. Neither, apparently, open when the sign on the door says they will open. The cafes both have similar menus, a full page of dishes, but everyone just orders the fish sandwich.
