Although not intended, this face sort of seems to capture how I feel right now, watching the frustration and mayhem that's happening in our society (can mostly just speak to America in this). The human inclination to fight is deeply rooted in human history. Back as far as history takes us. I'm existentially curious as to whether humans will be able to move beyond that inclination. I think a strong start would be for men to give women a greater voice. We (men) have dominated history for a long time, and I think it's time to admit that male "leadership" has been responsible for devastating wars, horrific cruelty, widespread marginalization, systemic segregation/racism, and massive inequality. I will, consequently, support and vote for a "change in leadership" (which realistically means fewer white males in leadership - as we're the ones who basically got us into this mess). People who have ideas on how to cultivate a culture/system that doesn't encourage/reward entitlement and privilege of a select few. People who can recognize that we are all essentially in "one tribe" now - as humans on this earth. And if we don't start seeing it that way, and operating with that awareness, humanity is likely going to implode (or just become extinct).
