BACKDAY ADVICE πŸ’ͺ🏼
Starting off #BACKDAY with wide grip alternating lat pulldowns, an awesome cable pulldown variation that I love. This is an amazing exercise targeting the outer lat muscle to help build a wide back and V taper. As you're performing this exercise make sure you really focus on pulling the weight down with your elbow and lat muscle, NOT YOUR HANDS. Think of your hands as just hooks that hold the weight, NOT LIFT IT. This will help you hit the muscle much better. The wide grip will also take some stress of the weight off the bicep allowing you to really hit all back! BOOM!

Slowly starting to incorporate squats back into my #LEGDAY routine high volume low weight (only 225 lbs) fighting the pain of a torn meniscus. I've managed to keep good size on my legs with the injury and haven't missed a single leg day, but the bottom line is if you want big defined legs, YOU HAVE TO SQUAT. The pain is bad, but like I always say, whether physical or emotional, BODYBUILDERS ARE BUILT OFF PAIN. It fuels us. I'm doing my best to manage the injury with ice and therapy, but the only real fix is surgery and rest but fuck that. I'll fix it one day, but I rather train with pain than miss the gym.
