Note to self - when you add beet greens to your Healing Green Broth, the betalain (red colour) doesn’t make for the prettiest intensely green colour in the end product as usual… In fact, it ends up being a most unattractive khak’ colour! doh!

This little coral-coloured planter is the result of my first ever attempt at ceramics. 🌷
My sister and I signed up for a class together and had a lot of fun mucking around and bonding over clay.To be honest, the end result is a little better than I expected (albeit a little rustic!).

Whipping up a batch of my Fennel 3-Ways Kraut…

Fennel bulbs + fennel fronds + fennel seeds (#aipreintro )+ salt. That’s it! - all massaged together and stuffed tightly into my lovely kraut crock for a couple of weeks.

That’s Bella with Farmer Greg from @lingalongafarmwingham at @carriageworksfarmersmarket this morning . She’s carrying out her quality control inspection of his dog bones. It’s a role she takes VERY seriously, as you can see!

Today we picked up some flank steak and a double batch of beef cheeks from Farmer Greg. I’m planning some batch cooking this weekend. 🍖
And, Bella took home a few complimentary mini-poodle sized bones, too.
