Wrote the cover story for the first #MegXKissMay and I am certainly thrilled that it's finally out! πŸŽ‰ So incredibly proud of everyone who made this possible. #MegAllNewAllNow #MegxKissMay "Maymay and Kisses can no doubt rise separately with their individual quirks and good looks, which is probably why their separate fan bases keep pitting them against each other. In real life, however, things are never a heated competition. In fact, meeting them for this twinning cover shoot cemented the idea that they're all the more a force to be reckoned with when together." Photography by Jerick Sanchez (@jericksanchez). Videography & Motion Editorial by Zi Evangelista and Tin Dimaranan of #VideobySilver. Moving Covers Edited by Nix Villaruel and Mark Legaste. Creative Direction by Rain P. Dagala (@rainierdagala). Art Direction by Keziah Bigornia (@larathekeziah). Styling by RJ Roque (@rjroquestar). Hair by Rj Dela Cruz (@rjdelacruz) for Maymay and Jan Edrosalan (@janbenj13) for Kisses. Makeup by Eman De Leon (@emandeleonmakeup) for Maymay and RB Chanco (@rbchanco) for Kisses. Sittings Editors: Jikka DefiΓ±o (@jikkadefino) and Therese Sta. Maria (@reesstamaria). Shoot Assistant: Jay Anne Aguirre. Set design by Princess Barretto (@princessbarretto). Special thanks to Captain Luz Bagalacsa (@captainluz).

"While it's easy to settle for popular when you've already won the genetic lottery with doll-like features (which is obviously why she was named as such), Barbie isn't the type who settles. She's the type who wants to keep becoming." Welcoming my birth month with a final tribute to Meg's sweet and spunky April cover girl. πŸ’‹ Read more on megmagazine.ph/april-2017

Aside from the cover story, my favorite article (out of the ones that I wrote) for @megmagazine's latest release is this short commentary on millennials' seeming "obsession" over political correctness. Here's an excerpt from the first page: "Millennials are seen as special anxiety snowflakes eating only sugar-coated criticism while waging countless word wars behind the comfort of the anonimity blanket provided by the Internet – we're a mouthful of offendedness. The million-dollar question then arises: Why are we so easily offended?" [Note: It gets better, trust me. If there's anything I realized after reading tons of articles on political correctness to put together this piece, it's that our offendedness isn't really a negative thing! 😊] Read the article on megmagazine.ph or download the e-mag via Magzter and let me know what you think! 🌟
