2018 vs 2013 😛 For those with scoliosis, there is hope! It takes a lot of work, but it’s possible. Slow and steady!

I cried today, not because of the pose. But because of what the success of this pose means. It means my spine has again improved. Never in my life have I ever been able to stretch my spine out so much that I could place my legs behind my head. This is incredible for me and even more so of an accomplishment than all the handstand pikes I’ve done! Lord Govinda has shown me many miracles, and my love knows no bounds for Him. So many lessons He has guided me through 💕

I put on 8kg the past 2 years and couldn’t figure out why! I had such bad water retention and bloating and no matter how much I exercised I couldn’t drop my water weight. So I realized only a month ago that most people get water retention and bloating from a lack of Magnesium or Potassium. I was wondering if I myself lacked in those minerals and decided to buy any ol’ Mag/Pot vitamin from the store. 1 week after consumption, I begun to drop the water 😱 Bear in mind I drink a lot of water so I’m definitely not stripping my body of water to get lighter. I’ve dropped 2kg in retained water so far and I’m feeling much less pudgy! What I’m trying to say here, is that when something is not right with myself, I’m learning to look into what I could be lacking instead of hopping into a yoyo diet (which I’m definitely guilty of). The answer to my problems was simpler than I thought!

Caught my eyes in the midst of a color change! I’ve been telling everyone that everyone’s eye color changes because of temperature etc but most don’t believe me! 😂 Here’s proof! Isn’t the body an amazing creation 😍

Narrowing the arms in handstand makes me feel very helpless 😂 this is something I’m going to work on. I’m very used to executing handstands with super wide arms, but the flexibility in my wrists have improved so much so that I can do a narrow arm handstand much more comfortably 🙏🏻 Thank God for healing and improving my body.

Eka pada koundinyasana to floating chinstand to chinstand scorpion. Backbending doesn’t come naturally to me and it takes alot of core for me to not put so much pressure into my lumbar. I’m really happy with the progress!
