I've heard people say, "when I make salads at home, they don't taste good" AND I've also heard people be bummed because their favorite dressing isn't ideal for their goals.
Here are a few quick tips: β–ͺ️Always look at the back label of dressing. Fewer and natural ingredients you can pronounce. πŸ‘πŸ½
β–ͺ️Olive oil (healthy fat), red wine vinegar, salt & pepper can replace dressing and give your salad lots of flavor! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
β–ͺ️Get creative with your veggies! Add anything! β–ͺ️If you need crunch in your salad, crush up almonds (will also ads a little extra healthy fat) and sprinkle those in. A small portion of croutons won't hurt. Use sparingly. β–ͺ️If you must have cheese, just a little bit can make a big difference when combined with Braggs nutritional yeast! β–ͺ️If it's not just a side salad, but your whole meal---then definitely add a lean protein!
