As we count our blessings this Thanksgiving, we get to count one more. Our little family of 3 will soon be FOUR!
Baby Pilgrim is due to arrive in May! #13weeks #thankful

Annabelle had a Thanksgiving feast today at pre-school. Her teacher made special placemats for the kid's table that listed what they're the most thankful for. I'm so happy to be on her list...right next to #Cheezits. Ha!! 😂

So I started wearing my cozy winter socks around the house this week (yay!) and I got our Christmas tree put up but I haven't decorated it yet. I do like to decorate early for Christmas because it's just so much work. I mean...our main tree alone is 9 feet tall and I put up 3 trees in our house, y'all!! Why not enjoy the fruits of my labor longer, right? I think that most people wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate. We don't host Thanksgiving here so there's no good reason to wait to decorate. What do you do?🌲

🎶What a beautiful sight! We're happy tonight...walking in a winter wonderland.🎵
We truly had an amazing time at Gaylord Texan's ICE exhibit! 40 ice carvers from China have sculpted a real winter wonderland out of 14,000 pounds of ice. It is beautiful and festive and every family in DFW simply has to see it! Visit the blog for a discount code to use for HALF OFF of your tickets.

Imagine my surprise when the "guest artist" at Clayton Kershaw's charity concert event in #Dallas turned out to be my fave...Brad Paisley!! Swipe to see some super close up video footage I captured as I managed to squeeze my way up to front. 😂 Wow- what a fantastic night! #KClive #BradPaisley #countrymusic #dallasblogger #therustic

So we may have overdone it on the trick or treating and now we have more Halloween candy than we could ever eat. No problem! Melt the chocolate candy on the stove, dip pretzel sticks into it, and use candy corn and edible eyes 👀to create these adorable little turkeys. Gosh I love fall. 🦃#gobblegobble

Happy Halloween from the sweetest little scarecrow around!! #happyhalloween #scarecrow

#AD Fall is baking season around our house. I love the way it smells and everyone loves the way it tastes! I like to incorporate fall flavors into my family's favorite desserts this time of year. That's how my #1 most requested fall treat came to be. Pumpkin Monkey Bread - it's where pumpkin, cinnamon rolls, caramel, pecans, and icing join together to create a total winner of an autumn indulgence - great for breakfast or dessert! Read on for the recipe using new @CountryCrock buttery sticks, which require no softening time so you can use them straight out of the fridge! #WhenWeBake #monkeybread
Ingredients: 3 cans cinnamon rolls, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 2/3 cup granulated sugar, 2/3 cup Country Crock buttery sticks for melting, Country Crock buttery stick for buttering the pan, 1/3 cup chopped caramels, 1/3 cup chopped pecans, 2 Tbs pumpkin puree
Preparation: (1.) Heat oven to 350°F. (2.) Butter a bundt cake pan using a Country Crock buttery stick. (3.) Place granulated sugar in a large bowl. (4.) Cut each cinnamon roll into four quarters. (5.) Coat each cinnamon roll piece with sugar. (6.) Arrange the pieces in the pan adding caramel and pecans evenly into the layers as you assemble the bread. (7.) Microwave buttery sticks until melted. (8.) Stir in brown sugar and pumpkin puree until a liquid forms. Pour the liquid over the monkey bread. (9.) Bake 40 minutes. Allow to cool 20 minutes in the pan. (10.) Turn pan over on baking rack and remove the pan. (11.) Place the icing from the cinnamon rolls into a small bowl and microwave until melted. Pour over the monkey bread and serve. #yum
