The shop is slowly evolving into this really beautiful space. One of the most important things I'm trying to keep in my mind and really focus on is accepting that I nothing will ever get done if you just dream about whatever your big dream is.
Dreaming is what keeps us going, but without actually making and doing and trying and hustling, we will never achieve our goals.
Two months ago we kind of quickly put together somewhat working displays, shelves and fairy lights. It wasn't perfect but it was a start and that's what's really important.
We have taken our time finding the perfect pieces of second-hand furniture. Changing things up, tweaking this and that, trying new set-ups and investing in a few nice items that are both pretty and functional, such as this board we can kind of communicate with the community with.
Next thing we want to do, is to get these tall and skinny wooden shelves from our childhood bedroom to the shop. At some point in our life, we used to absolutely hate those, but as our dad predicted, we'd appreciate them someday and would be happy they've been saved all these years. (All my Finnish followers will know which shelves I'm talking about here 😂) And to anyone not speaking Finnish, the sign says: "Creativity from Maunula,
Paper from Helsinki,
Pens and Tapes from Japan.
Otherwise just knock on the door"
