Camp Boop!! Provided Korean BBQ tonight (well a glaze) . Today was quite a new experience for me. I harvested and field dressed a squirrel. This was the freshest meal that I have had. It tasted absolutely amazing. I was super reluctant to try squirrel, it’s sounds so hillbilly. However I have been reading these amazing cookbooks for the last year on how to prepare, get started and develop an idea on how to make wild game interesting. I was fortunate enough to meet the author/amazing human / chef last week. @huntgathercook He convinced me that it was a delicious meat..... the man speaks the truth. This world is completely new, uncomfortable and amazing to me. I have no idea what I’m doing but I love learning. Washing it down with a @bulleitwhiskey rye with fresh mint and ginger beer didn’t hurt.
