I still have a long way to go but learnt so much from @emmahyndman_theposingpro posing seminar last night!
Practice, practice and practice again!

What are you waiting for?
I'll start tomorrow...a phrase we've all heard and most likely said ourselves one too many times. Tomorrow comes and most likely you'll make excuses to start the next day, then the next until weeks or months have flown by and you're still saying I'll start tomorrow.
Start today, start now, be the person that you want to be set those goals you want to achieve. No one will get you there but yourself, your motivation and your mindset.
Let Sunday be the new Monday, a time to reflect on the previous week, a time to set goals and challenges for the coming week and a time to prepare for the week ahead. Nothing in life is easy, but anything is possible if you put your mind to it. @gympro_apparel

Date night!
A night that a few weeks ago I would have panicked about eating something a little naughty and having a cheeky drink!
Since starting my fitness journey earlier this year I began to hermit away from social events and going out just for the fact I worried I’d fall off plan.
Something I’ve come to realise though is the support I have from my friends and family and especially @richlexic . They don’t care if I can’t always eat something naughty or can’t have a drink and sometimes I feel I’ve made it into more of an issue than it needed to be.
But every once in a while it’s nice to have a meal off plan and it was lovely having a night out with @richlexic even if we are crap at ping pong!
What I’m trying to get at, is that if you surround yourself with people that support you, you don’t need to hermit away and avoid social events with friends and family. And eating out once in a while isn’t always such a bad thing as long as it’s in moderation.

After a recent injury I’ve been setting more time aside to stretch, warm up and strengthen my core.
I finished sessions with my physio a week or so ago and benefitted a lot from it. I actually would recommend anyone who is interested in fitness even as a hobby to go to a physio as you learn so much about your body and how to prevent injury.

I’ve not been sure about posting these images as I’m still not where I want to be figure wise. But then I think it’s so easy to look at images and not realise the transformation and time it takes to achieve fitness goals. There’s approx 3 months between these images and these are the stats so far:

Weight 5.5kg lost
Fat 5.4% lost
Metabolic Age 12 from 20!!! I still have a long way to go in order to achieve my goals but I’m proud of my progress so far!

Absolutely loving this cute T from @topshop what I love even more is that it’s made in the UK!

One of the goals I set myself for 2018 was to be able to do a pull up, unassisted. I began at 44kg on the assisted pull up machine in June, I couldn’t lift my own weight using the red (easiest) resistance bands in the gym. After working on my pull ups for a while I began to become frustrated that I wasn’t seeing any progress. Since building my upper body strength and pushing myself I have finally began to see progress! I have now got the weight down to just 9kg on the assisted pull up machine and have managed to move from the red, to the blue and now the green resistance band which is something I never thought I could achieve! It might have taken me nearly three months to get to this point but it’s made me realise that practice, ambition and patience is key. I know I still have a lot to improve on in regards to my form but Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Feeling like 2018 is my year for progression and change! Finally starting to see some progress in my upper body and am looking forward to seeing where the journey will take me!

Training with @richlexic today! Nice to try a new gym. I’ve still got a long way to go but I’m starting to see a little progress 🙏🏼

THE nicest gin ever! Thank you @richlexic @gunpowderirishgin

53kg hip thrusts just over my own body weight. I know I need to work on my form but getting to this point in the first place is something I never thought achieve! Persistence is key!! Now to work on holding for 5-10 seconds in between reps.
