Happy Sunday Folks! While chasing the aurora in the Lofoten islands we ran into a big storm and called it a day at Eggum Beach. I went to bed in my campervan with the sound of thunder and crashing waves on the beach. I woke up at 3am to go to the bathroom only to find the storm clouds had dispersed and a green aurora was dancing overhead. It was a surreal scene. The white specks you see on the left and towards the center are actually sheep that call this beach home. Hope you like it✨
Happy Hump Day! 👹 While exploring the Temple of the Emerald Buddah in Bangkok I was blown away by these Ramakien Figures. 👺The Golden Chedi (which is huge) is supported on all it’s circumference by these statues, all with different colors and patterns on them. They all stand guard and hold the temple’s structure. Awesome sauce!
Happy Thursday 🌴 These are the lush green Tegallalang rice terraces in Bali. I got here pretty early to shoot the sunrise(post coming up soon). After the colors subsided I took out the drone for a spin. From the air the terraces look almost like a huge green pyramid in the middle of the jungle!🌴 Bali never disappoints👌🏼
Happy Tuesday💦 This is a shot of Takkakaw falls early in the morning as I was starting up on a trail. It may not look like it from this faraway perspective, but the falls are over 300m tall. On another note; I’m rooting for Argentina 🇦🇷 in the world cup. Who you got? ⚽️
Happy Sunday Folks🤠 This is Lake Louise on a fine morning. 🌄I overslept a bit this day but somehow made it just in time for the fireworks. There was very little wind so I managed to get a little bit of a reflection in the shot.
Happy Hump Day! This is the Twin Lagoon area in Coron, Philippines💦 I spent many hours snorkeling and exploring this area. You could swim from lagoon to lagoon though a little opening on a limestone wall. Upon my return to the boat I decided to get a bird’s eye perspective of the place and guess what? It looked ever better! Hope you like it
On my way to Canada I decided to spend one night in Page, AZ just to be able to shoot a sunset from this epic spot. Last time I was here few years back it was too cloudy and I wasn’t able to shoot anything nice. This time around the desert sunset didn’t disappoint at all. Hope you like it🏜 —————————————————————- WWW.JAVIEROLIVAPHOTO.COM
