Mel's first Deadlift!! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ˜Ž This was a proud moment this morning. Mel has suffered with severe neck pain for a long time, and after a few months of using small, gentle exercises to gradually strengthen her muscles and joints, Mel now has enough strength to perform a deadlift without pain! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ This is a big deal, because it means we can now up the anti with Mel's training and she can enjoy some next level results! As she gets stronger and stronger, her injury will be a thing of the past!

Results are gained in baby steps!! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‹ You don't just wake up one day able to lift a car. Strength improves by tiny amounts at a time, and sometimes it even feels like you're going backwards (we have "strong" days and "weak" days). It also helps to use the right tools to speed up the process!

Here's Chantelle doing her third consecutive week of deadlifts with ๐Ÿ”—chains, 5 sets of 3. She has 70kg on the bar, plus chains.
On week 1, she was doing 55kg plus chains.

Incredible form, Shaz! ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ‘ Until recently, Sharon found it very difficult to deadlift without her shoulders rounding forward.

Now she's developed enough strength in her upper back to keep the shoulders pinned back throughout the entire lift, even with a heavy weight!

The bent row is a challenging exercise because it requires a high level of awareness and control over your body. As you can see, it involes not only keeping a straight back while in a bent-over position, but also holding this posture whilst rowing a loaded bar to the chest! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ‹ Pippa has nailed it! As a result, her posture has improved dramatically and the aches and pains she used to experience in her neck & shoulders are a thing of the past! ๐Ÿ‘

It's much easier for Pippa to go about her busy day and care for her family without being weak, tired and in pain.
