Pumped up calories from 3000 to 3200 two weeks ago. Now weighing 73KGs, was 72KGs 3 weeks ago. Will be looking to sit around 80KGs by the end of this year. 🧐

If you want to get a huge thick back, all you have to do is:

✅Compound Movements: Can’t stress more about Deadlifting, Barbell Rowing & Pull ups. Best lifts to create a thick functional back.

✅Isolations: Including them into your program is important to hit the back with controlled eccentrics which creates most of the muscle damage (therefore growth) and hits the back from different angles.

When you're dehydrated many things can affect your performance at the gym and you don't want that 🤦🏼‍♂️

Dehydration can cause: -
☠️Joint pain—cartilage needs water to remain strong & repair itself
👨🏻‍🍳Digestive problems—waste removal becomes slow & sluggish & can result in constipation
🐖Weight gain—if it can’t properly eliminate toxins, your body will store them in your fat cells & hold onto the fat until it’s hydrated enough to safely remove the toxins

Had a great session yesterday learning how to manage injuries and maintain movement without causing more damage or increasing symptoms. -
Here's a 110KGs for 5, slowly trying to manage chronic pain from restricted movement through hips and glutes, while increasing the load 👌🏻

Also seeing @becchambersfit & @nickcheadlefitness yesterday was amazing! It motivated me to stay focused and was good to catch up ❤️🙏🏻

Don't wait for opportunity. Create it. 💯

Most people complain about how boring their cardio is, whether it is done on a stepper, treadmill, or a stationary bicycle. This is not sustainable on the long term therefore, will not lead you to the results you want. 🤦🏼‍♂️

The better way to do cardio is by enjoying an activity with friends and family or even individually, by choosing an activity that you love. This will pass time easily, cardio won't feel as a burden, and you will have a more sustainable cardio plan which leads to better results. 👌🏻

I personally don't do cardio at all because I don't enjoy it and I don't need to do it to stay lean. The only time I do cardio is unintentional. Examples are: Soccer, Rock Climbing, or just going for a walk to freshen up 😁

One of my favourite back exercises ever. Concentrating on the Lats, Rhomboids, Lower Traps for that juicy back. The control in that movement makes it a very challenging yet easy to execute due to the support of the bench on your chest, while also eliminating any momentum to drive the movement. 🏋🏻🔥

Training Update: After @tangsworld_ assessing where I am at in terms of strength, there was some tweaking to be done in terms of mobility through the hips, groin and quad areas to prevent back injuries. Now you are probably asking yourself, why the hell do I need to release my quads, groin and hips to secure a healthy functional back 🤷🏼‍♂️? The reason is because when you have mobility through your hips you will gain stability through to your back. Don't think that your body is sections connected together working separately, all your body parts work in conjunction with each other, as one unit. 🏋🏻
