Jaimé Lawrence  i love beautiful things, people and moments x

By the skin of my teeth. Nothing like a last minute vote to help me cull my shortlist of 25 to 10. Gang of Youths was my favourite, am absolutely loving that album the more I listen. Had to leave three more of their songs in my shortlist. Ready for the countdown now ❤

Sun day. Sun showers + rainbows ☔️🌈❤

Happy birthday Emy-Lou. We love you completely ❤

Could have watched this for hours. 3,000 individual lights. Actually amazing.

Today we get a little bit cultured.

Happy happy birthday to my favourite person, you make life pretty damn wonderful. Lucky I married you, cause I really bloody like you x

Cheers to the new year everyone. My 2017 was filled with so many moments, many made me smile and some made me cry. When you think the year has flashed by, you just need to take a moment and reflect on what actually happened in those 365 days. I started the year packing up my flat into storage boxes, staying with friends and then staying on a mattress on the floor while we waited for Ry's visa to come through, finally getting the news it had been approved and then watching him walk through the arrivals gate in March. There were many w/e's spent travelling and exploring. A w/e in Byron with mates, Easter road tripping up the coast, camping where we wanted to and swimming at every beach, eating and drinking our way through the June wrong w/e, woke up to the sound of the ocean in Little Beach, swam when we woke up at The Basin. We searched high and low and found our beautiful apartment that's become our first home. In May, we took our first trip back home to BH and introducing Ry to dad, and everyone else finally getting to meet my mystery husband, including my beautiful gran. Soon after in August, I was meeting Ry's mum on her first visit to Oz before we flew back to Wales in September to meet everyone else Ry loves and spending time with his dad. We had a couple of blissful days in my beloved London after walking away 14 years before. Sadly my year took a shitty turn with my grans battle with dementia before losing her completely in November. Sitting next to her, holding her hand and combing her hair will be some of my most difficult and cherished memories. In between all of those big moments, were a million little moments that slip by so quickly if you let them. I am so grateful for every single one of my moments. Wishing everyone I love a brilliant 2018, filled with the little and the big things ❤

Paradise II x

Yesterday I woke up in the beautiful desert, ended the day in paradise. I x

The equivalent of Rex Business Class, only taken me at least 50 return flights to make it into the front row ✈️❤

It should be known that I am in no way known for my dessert making prowess, except if you want to talk about the xmas trifle disaster of 2008 (but no one wants to remember that). So on Saturday Ry and I were tasked with bringing dessert to The Gregory's and decided to get ambitious and attempt The Grounds Black Forest Cake. Made up of no less than six components with sponge cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate sauce, cherry sauce, cherry jam and mascarpone vanilla cream. Preparing these from scratch was easy. Putting this monstrosity together was where it got complicated. Especially as our lovely sponge needed to be split into 3 parts and had collapsed into a pancake. We used our creative licence to recover. And then in the midst of the mayhem, it also slid off the 15 bottles of booze on the bottom shelf of the fridge and onto the floor. Despite what it looked like, it was utterly delicious!
