So every morning I nurse Maverick first thing. He usually keeps his eyes closed (in his own euphoria lolz) + sometimes even falls back asleep. After feeding, I usually bring him to our full body mirror and say "who's that?!" and he smiles.
Today I noticed his eyes were pretty swollen. At first I wasn't sure if he was extra sleepy but after Steve looked we thought we should call our pediatrician. No fever, no vomiting, no diarrhea, no ear infection, heart sounds great, and lungs were clear.
Basically he's just fighting a little upper respiratory infection from a cold that just needs to subside on its own. Luckily he is acting just as sweet and chill as normal but definitely not the way I wanted to start our morning.
Any other Mamas become a worrier after having children? It was never my nature until my baby was born. Good thing our pediatrician is just 5 minutes from our house.
He's sleeping in his car seat so I'm taking this time to chug my preworkout and press play on day 16 of 21 in our test group. Today is a new strength training workout + I'm ready to get my butt kicked.
Since I know y'all will ask, bra is @newbalance from Marshall's and lightweight joggers are from @lululemon. 😘🙌🏽 #postpartum
