Real talk- I love dessert. If you have followed me very long at all this probably isn't a surprise to you. It is literally one of my favorite things. I love creating, sharing and, of course, eating dessert. However, dessert comes with it's downsides. I've been working hard this year to get into shape and have a healthier diet. I even tried (for a solid two weeks) to cut out all sugar. But it's just not realistic. (Seriously found myself dreaming about 4 different kinds of cinnamon rolls one night.) It drove me crazy and very easily could have led to a hardcore binge. Since then, I've focused more on counting calories and making sure to work out every day. When I'm watching my intake I know when it's okay to have a cupcake or if I should pass on a 456 calorie cookie. I'm doing way better now and the weight is coming off! Find what works for you. Don't deprive yourself and make yourself go crazy! That way we are all successful and can celebrate with dessert!
