Be who you are, do what you want, be happy for yourself. You'll never please everybody. Dont bother trying. Been there, done that. I'm the happiest I've ever been because I realized everybody else's opinions are just that. Opinions. And that's none of my concern. Whoever's got any negative opinions on me, that's their negativity to carry. Not mine. And if it's not mine, it doesn't have to weight on my shoulders.
I like who I am. But I like even more who I'm becoming. I'm always busy growing, always improving, always learning and that means I'm always making mistakes and failing. Because that's the only way we learn. Always told my mom: "Don't tell me I'm gonna hurt if I hit my head against the wall. Let me hurt hitting my head against the wall and then give me your shoulder to cry because that's the only way I'll learn" Guess I've always known. I'm not afraid to fail. I'm not afraid of not being your average girl. I'm not afraid to look and be different. To be honest, I kinda like it. People tell me I'm crazy, that I don't think, that I keep hitting my head in different walls hoping it will feel different, that I'm irresponsible, reckless. To all those people, I don't care. I'm doing me, getting to know myself and my limits, doing the best I know to be a good mom for my baby, to be a good woman for my love and to be be the best me I can be for myself.
You focus on you and they focus on you, criticizing what you do. One is wrong and it sure as hell ain't you.

Once you realize that, you'll be happy.

In order to lose weight you need to eat less? Lie! ❎

Reality is: In order to lose weight you need to eat less shitty good.

Losing weight is simple math (for most of us). Your calorie intake needs to be lower than your caloric needs. That's it. It's that simple. No secret, no magic, no miracle. If you wanna drop some numbers, you cant eat more than what your body needs.
Now, that last sentence is very often translated to: you need to eat less. And that's one of the biggest lies in the fitness world. It's a quick fix. Everybody wants to get results fast. Everybody wants to lose weight in like a week so they can go about their lives, making the same mistakes they did before & it becomes a cycle.
Break the cycle! Once somebody told me that the best diet is the one you dont know you're in. And that changed COMPLETELY my approach to food.
Let's talk math. If you go to McDonald's and you eat a big mac, some fries & a coke, you just got yourself a 1000 calories meal. That dish I just posted is around 500 calories. It's simple, easy and very tasty. Not to mention its half the calories & way, way, WAY more healthy than whatever fast food you can find.
You dont need trendy foods and 2 hours cooking some shit that won't even taste good. That's not healthy eating. What's the point of making healthy food if you're gonna burn 30000 neurons making it and 8000 taste buds eating it? That's just torturing yourself.
There's a difference between healthy eating and flexing for the gram. When it comes to eating clean, the simpler the better.
Long story short, it's not how much you eat. It's what you eat. And you are what you eat. So don't be fast, cheap, easy & fake.

The secret to be a confident person:

I always had a hard time accepting myself. Just a few years ago I hated absolutely everything about my body! I was overweight, unhappy and I didn't know what to do.
I was at my limit. I thought it was all pointless. I had tried several diets and exercise and everything and I lost weight, but you see, the weight wasn't the problem. I was never the kind to sit around and wait for miracles. So I changed, I became someone who wasn't me, I changed the way I spoke, i changed my style, I changed everything and in the end, I only hated myself more.
You see, the problem was the way I looked at life. Everything was always so dark and negative. Even if something good was happening at the moment, I would sabotage myself and turn it into my worst nightmare. Because deep down, I had forgotten how to just be happy. All these thoughts in my head made me forget that I could and deserved to be happy.
I could just sit here and tell you: just be positive! But I know it's not that simple. It's hard to see the bright side sometimes, specially when you've lived in the shadows for so long.

So the secret to be a confident person is to believe in yourself. Let me ask you something, out of everything that has happened to you, how much of it have you survived? All of it. You had shit thrown at you and still, here you are. You are stronger than you think. Never doubt your strength 'cause that's the only time you'll be weak. The moment you realize that after all, you are a survivor, the world won't seem so scary.
Remember confidence isn't "they will like me". Its "I'll be fine if they dont" and you really will. Because you're a survivor.
So believe in yourself, believe in your strength and you'll see that all of a sudden, the world is not so black anymore. You got this! πŸ’ͺ
