Happy Friday! I really like this quote rather a lot, and it seemed very relevant to me this morning as Last night after my graduation I met up with some of my friends and they were all generally feeling similar to how I've felt! A bit lost, unconfident, unsure, fearful of the future. I'm feeling a lot better now then I was the other week but this feeling is so ok. I've never been one to do what others do, and even at times throughout my life when I have felt excluded, unsocial or like I'm the weird one because I choose not to join in, I've never let that stop me from doing exactly what I want. I left school before I finished all my a levels because I suffered from bad depression. At the time, because I wasn't following the normal route that everyone else was, I felt I'd failed and lost so much confidence in myself. However in fact, this experience didn't hold me back in any way. I got onto an art foundation and then got onto a fashion design degree at central Saint martins where I just graduated yesterday with a first! So this is a message to say, don't worry about not being on the supposedly right right path. We are constantly made to feel we have to have a plan, a direction, but we don't. It really doesn't matter at all. What matters is that you are doing what you want to do and what makes you happy. You may not know what that it is, I know I don't but know You are in exactly the right place you need to be so embrace it! ❀️

Felt like a change this morning and so I made an isabowl :) I haven't had one in ages and remembered how much I love them! This one is 1/3 cup mixed frozen berries, big handful spinach, 1 dsp tahini (that's the size between tsp & tbsp), a scoop of @formnutrition, 1/3 cup almond milk & 1/3 cup water, cinnamon & vanilla & some ice! Yum!

When you are lucky to live right next to this, take full advantage. I did a kettlebell workout in my kitchen this morning and then felt the need to go to the park which made me feel that I don't use it enough. I've said it before but for me there is something about spending time near trees or just nature in general that makes me feel calm and I think I forget this feeling! I urge you to see if you are the same, because just spending a little time, maybe even just a walk can completely alter my mind set and mood so maybe yours too! Have a happy Thursday! I have my graduation today πŸ™ŒπŸΌ so heading home from the park to get ready for that ❀️

Missing bondi & Melbourne and all the incredulous smoothie bowls I made when there. I found my ultimate dream place @scoopwholefoods & @thesourcebulkfoods while in aus! Ultimate health food heaven! I will Be back soon ❀️

Tbt to the best times ever on my placement year when I was living in Japan and experimenting with trx splits, I don't know if you can tell by my face but I think I was definitely thinking how in the world am I going to get out of this. 😜! Happy Wednesday! Doing the splits on the floor was a goal I set myself about 2 years ago and it took me about a year of practising and stretching every day to achieve it but I eventually did! At the moment I've mentioned I've been outlining some new goals but this is just a reminder to not give up and keep going because with determination & hard work you will achieve your goals! I struggle all the time with feelings of low self esteem and just generally feeling like I can't do it either but then I do something for me like go to yoga which I did last night @the.house.of.yoga and it reminded me of everything I have to be grateful for, everything that I'm working towards and brought back a bit of confidence I felt I'd recently lost. Thank you @yogini_twanine - best class ever! ❀️so don't give up because I'm not either!

Something you all have to try! Quinoa, @sukrinuk coconut flour & courgette pizza. I topped mine with lots of veg., some lentils& flageolet beans & spinach! Such a good one and super quick and easy to make! This one is a vegan friendly recipe too as I used @linwoodshealthfoods flaxseed to make a flax egg but you could use a normal egg if you wanted too! Recipe definitely needs a bit more refinement but I love experimenting with these pizza bases ;) πŸ™ŒπŸΌ!

Monday thoughts. While it is important to think realistically sometimes, it's also so important to allow yourself to be free to give adventure the opportunity to venture into your life :). I really find this hard sometimes but know when I do let go, the best things seem to happen ✨✨✨ happy Monday

This is the best thing to head for if you felt like a mini treat. I much prefer to make my own treats when I feel like something sweet :) and I did after my rice paper rolls last night ! :) and actually I think rather than restrict the things that you'd like, I think I've worked out that it's much better to listen to how you are really feeling and allow your body just that. Maybe that feeling is boredom, or an emotion you are trying to overcome. I know for me this has been a reason to overeat on many occasions but actually I've really begun checking in with myself and it feels good! I flicked through some more of @thefoodmedic book and found this amazing sweet potato dessert! It was super quick and easy to make and was incredibly Delish too! Don't be put off by the sweet potato ingredient, now days sweet potato seems like a common dessert ingredient from brownies to all sorts -but fair enough- it makes a perfect texture for a dessert, and although I like the flavour, you can't taste the actual flavour of them anyway. Have a go and make some today !!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

I can't agree with this more. I'm about to head to Bali for a yoga teacher training and at the moment I literally cannot stop meeting people heading to Bali, every corner I turn, I have made a new friend. The other day it was a lovely girl working on a @pipandnut pop up stand and then a model on the shoot I was helping out with @ohmmeapparel - maybe for some this would just be coincidence but for me, it's a sign I'm totally in the right place right now and heading to an even greater place! Set your intentions, create positive affirmations and visualise where you want to be- work hard to get there and you will achieve & succeed! Know that you are on the right path of your own journey! Happy Sunday! I'm heading to the park gym for a bootiful πŸ‘sesh and some treadmill sprints! See ya πŸ”₯(Regram from @fitwithgeorgie)

I've wanted to make some rice paper rolls for ages and although mine are by no means a work of art yet, they were extremely delicious. I felt inspired to make them today after finding a recipe for them in @thefoodmedic book and so I based mine around her one, except I made a vegan version with @merchantgourmet puy lentils mixed with @bionaorganic flageolet beans. I added 1/4 red pepper, 1/4 cucumber, 1 spring onion cut finely & some @merchantgourmet quinoa too. I made a dipping sauce of a sachet of @pipandnut almond butter, tbsp water, 1/2 tbsp tamari & a squeeze of lime! Try it, so good! ❀️! All ya need is some rice paper and away you go!

Lean, mean & green! New favourite breakfast. Omelette with handful of spinach & 1/2 grated courgette πŸ”₯πŸ™ŒπŸΌthis is πŸ”₯ stuff. ESP. When you're eating it post workout. For me this consisted of a kitchen & chair kettle bell workout inspired by @shona_vertue. I really got into working out at home this past year when I was in my final year at uni and I just didn't have the time to get to the gym. So I created a seriously good set up for home. I bought a couple of different weighted kettlebells & some resistance bands and the rest is history! Don't get me wrong, I do love the gym too, and running or exercising outside but love my kitchen workouts too! Do what makes you feel good rather than following others because that's the way you will keep on doing it!
