You know how Singaporeans go overseas and try 'Singapore Chicken Rice' and feel utterly sad for people who think that's the real deal? Same case here.
Buttery, crumbly, scrumptdiddlylicious. All the other scones I've ever had were all deceptive lies. Sandwich in a generous layer of strawberry jam and that gorgeous silky clotted cream and take as many food moments you need.
BTW if you ever go overseas and eat chicken rice you ought to be shot. Just saying.
Visiting galleries, I see people more eager to take photos of the artwork than to appreciate the actual masterpiece in front of them.
TLDR; Super peeved about Singaporeans zombie-ing about with their faces in their mobile. Put your mobile phone down and look where you are walking for goodness sake, it's self deprecating to expect others to make way for you just because you need to check your latest status update. The time we run a campaign to educate about phone etiquette is the day we admit to have failed as a basic human being.
Ending on a sweet note with these mini mooncakes - Purple Yam with Sweet Potato (that's the egg yolk lookalike), Black Sesame and Walnut, Matcha with Melon Seeds. Mix and match any four for a box at $22.80!
Looks like roast pork belly but it's healthier and even better-rer - Hand chopped Seafood paste sandwiched between a layer of crispy chicken skin and toasted almonds. Paired with a sweet sauce or my recommendation is to go with their house sambal chili which is available upon request.
