INTREC  Intrec is a privately owned Australian company, specialising in commercial fitout, building refurbishment and construction management.

Oh, what a night! Last night the INTREC crew and our clients partied like it was 1920 at Palmer & Co. in Sydney. With whiskey tastings, dancing to a live band and a photobooth, we celebrated all that we achieved together in 2018 in STYLE! Special thanks to all who made it out to the event – we loved having you there! #INTRECBASH

Henry Schein Halas, Australia’s largest dental distributor, recently engaged INTREC to fitout their new open plan office and functioning sales showroom in Alexandria, NSW. Over 15 weeks, the team delivered an open plan office, common areas, meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art sales showroom, dental chair display, laboratory, project display areas as well as a training room and board room. Delivered alongside nettletontribe and Building Services Engineers Pty Ltd, the result was a sleek, high-end fitout that embodies the professionalism and innovation of Henry Schein Halas. Great work team!

With the sun shining down on Flemington Race course, INTREC and some very valued industry partners watched the riveting Kennedy Oaks Day races from The Winning Post marquee.
The day was jam packed with activity; chatting, eating, drinking, magic, guest speaker Jim Cassidy, and of course punting, resulting in lots of yelling!
On the famous ‘Ladies Day’ of Cup Week, the INTREC Team had a stunning group of ladies join them, as well as some rather dashing men! We thank all for coming along and joining in on the fun, it was a wonderful day spent with great company.

Refurbishment works are really starting to come together at The Barracks in Brisbane! Working within heritage rooms and an occupied building, we’re very excited to see the finished product! Stay tuned…

There was no horsing around yesterday as INTREC staff members watched the race that stopped the nation! The office has never been so quiet before, as everyone watched in anticipation to see which horse took the cup. A great afternoon had by all!

RMIT University’s Building 223 Module E laboratories and Building 12 Dry Electronics Laboratory were due for upgrade this year and our VIC project team were engaged, along with Vincent Chrisp Architects and Waterman Australia to manage the projects over two campuses at RMIT. Project works included services modifications and joinery to meet modern user needs. Extensive investigation with RMIT’s incumbent maintenance contractors and clear communication with all stakeholders, empowered INTREC to undertake the shutdown of an electrical board with no incidents. The result was a fresh, operable space appropriate for user tasks.

Caught in the act of being a legend! We love seeing our team give back to not only the project we’re delivering in Bankstown, but to the community as a whole.

Keep up the great work, guys!

INTREC has taken on a challenge to do 10,000 burpees in… wait for it…. 10 DAYS! As a company, we’ll do 1000 burpees per day to not only improve our own health and wellbeing as a team, but also to help those in need. If we achieve the 10,000 burpee goal, INTREC will donate $1000 to Our Neighbours, whose mission is to help the poorest of the poor in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. C’mon INTREC team! Let’s DO this!

RMIT University - B14 Arc Centre of Excellence, VIC RMIT engaged INTREC, H2o Architects and Lucid Consulting Australia to deliver the refurbishment of existing offices and fitout of a new highly-specified, purpose-built PC2 laboratory in Building 14 of the City Campus. This laboratory facilitates research into future low-energy electronics, quantum computation and communications technologies. Stringent atmospheric pressure was a key requirement for this lab, as well as the supply, installation and commissioning of specialised lab equipment that was integrated into the accompanying operating systems. Due to the nature of the project, lead times proved to be a key challenge. This required early procurement and constant coordination in order to achieve project handover. Our team acted quickly and collaboratively with H20 Architects, to ensure any risks of long lead time items were negated.

INTREC QLD were engaged by Quintessential Equity to deliver a full lobby upgrade, 9 amenities upgrades (spanning 3 floors) and the construction of a new bike storage area at 8 Gardner Close in Milton, Brisbane. Delivered alongside @iadesignaustralia , @bse_australia and DMC Projects, this project was particularly significant to INTREC QLD as our office is located within the building!
Our team are able to enjoy first-hand the special details such as modern feature lighting, timber detailed wall cladding, polished render walls and a bike repair station!

Giddy up! INTREC Victoria have been working on something special for our clients coming along to Kennedy Oaks Day next week, hosted by @ipevents. We hope these packages will help to get those attending back in the saddle after a winning day.

Last week, INTREC VIC sat down with some of our valued sub-contractors to discuss the exciting future of our company, and to address the challenges and changes facing the industry. Mornings like this are a great opportunity to build relationships and encourage communication with those who are directly involved with our business. INTREC found this breakfast to be a great success, and will continue to hold more meetings like this in the future!
