One of the newest editions to Women Be Active this year is the introduction of the... a f t e r - p a r t y - z o n e ! ๐Ÿ’ƒ

After your workout and yoga, it's time to relax and boy do we have you covered there. The DJ will be playing tunes until 12PM giving you plenty of time to head on over to the After Party Zone where you can follow up your workout with a delicious cooked breakfast and a coffee from @nood_cafe (Adelaide ladies we have you covered with @goodiesandgrains)
Our Perth ladies are lucky to have Nood Cafe back again for their 2nd Women Be Active, but this year with an awesome pop up cafe ready for you to relax and refuel.
If you have ever checked out their cafes in Leederville or Scarborough you know you are in for an absolute treat.

S N A C K - A T T A C K - Avoiding the 3pm munchies ๐Ÿช ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿฉ ๐Ÿฐ
3 Tips to stop a naughty afternoon snack:

1) Before you grab any food....drink water, and lots!
A lot of the times we mistake hunger for thirst so before you eat anything have a good drink of water. Also being dehydrated can make you tired and unable to concentrate.

2) Never miss lunch. Missing lunch means your blood sugar levels continue to drop, resulting in you feeling hungry, tired and unable to concentrate. This will cause your body to crave sugary foods to increase these levels.

3) Always include a portion of protein and a low GI carb with your meals.
Foods rich in protein (chicken, turkey, seafood and some diary products) These take longer to leave your stomach so you feel fuller for longer.
Low GI Carbohydrates (vegetables, fruit, rye bread and oats) monitor your blood sugar levels, preventing a slump and keeping your energy levels steady.
Don't let the 3pm munchies ruin your healthy eating.
