On the night of June 28, 1969, the LGBT community led by these two trans women, Marsha P. Johnson and Silvia Rivera, rose up against the police officers who came to arrest them and take them to the police station just for being LGBT people. They unleashed a revolt, which we know as the revolt of Stonewall Inn, which gave way to the organization of the collective and the beginning of marches to demand equal rights. Until then LGBT people were considered criminals or sick people. We were imprisoned or, in the best of cases, we were admitted to clinics where we even suffered from lobotomies. The prohibitions prevented having decent jobs, provoked the repudiation of families and forced marginalization. Today, after many years of work and activism, in the civilized world, being homosexual is (almost) as respectable as being heterosexual, you can get married and go out very cute by marking muscle in those photos that you upload to your networks. And all thanks to the flame that lit two people that today would say "that does not represent me". That is why it is important that before judging anyone we go to the speech, to the "what purpose does this person have in acting this way?" 😉 For the defense of equality, for the commemoration of our history, for the celebration of successes and for the commitment to the pending improvements, happy Pride Day.

Love does not ask, gives.
Love does not judge, understand.
Love does not wait, it flows.
Love does not control, trust.
Love does not blame, it takes responsibility.
Love does not limit, power.
Love does not imprison, liberates.
Love does not possess, loose.
Love does not need, offers.
Love does not argue, accept.
Love does not beg, it splurges.
Love does not hold back, surrender.
Love does not depend, it expands.
Love does not theorize, practice.
Love does not think, feels.
Love does not hurt, it heals.
Love does not want, love.

El amor no pide, da.
El amor no juzga, comprende.
El amor no espera, fluye.
El amor no controla, confía.
El amor no culpa, toma responsabilidad.
El amor no limita, potencia.
El amor no encarcela, libera.
El amor no posee, suelta.
El amor no necesita, ofrece.
El amor no discute, acepta.
El amor no mendiga, derrocha.
El amor no retiene, entrega.
El amor no depende, expande.
El amor no teoriza, practica.
El amor no piensa, siente.
El amor no duele, sana.
El amor no quiere, ama.
