This cooking is @chefjayps at his best. Contemporary Fil-Chi that's real and natural using ingredients sourced on the same day from Aranque Market. Of course it helped that he felt so at home! There was a fish head curry paired with steamed machang-inspired rice, asado buns, cheese omelette with oysters, scallops with xo, and other good stuff. Apparently a lot of people love alfajores as much as I do. Today it only took me a minute to finish half the contents of a Good Shepherd canister. Those by @hirayabakery, @sugarbeeph, and @lacabrera_mnl are also good options. Any other suggestions?
