California is such an incredible place. I am very fortunate to call it my home. My life of discovery here will never end, and the least I can do is show my gratitude. I hope to raise awareness that these places are vulnerable, especially now, and need to be protected. ✊🏼
Thanks @bigdogsurfcamp & @hooptie for the edit πŸ“½

What seems like a lifetime of love turns 5 today! πŸ’ I'm so blessed to call you my wife, my partner in crime, my best friend. Your Brazilian fire and complete dedication to anything you do has inspired me to believe in myself, share my passion, and help others. You have always made me laugh and all the people love you but I love you MOST!! Here's to the next πŸ’― years Babyzin!! πŸ‡§πŸ‡·πŸΎπŸ₯‚πŸŽ‰ πŸ“· : @vanessarochaphotography

I'm about to get down at #KellysCove with @chopemdownfilms and the bike rake if this rain let's up a little. Be here for two hours which is how long that took πŸ‘†

#tbt Me, and my mural in Mountain View a couple years ago. Despite my expression, I was pretty happy with this at the time! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Working late tonight on a wall for some people who believed in me years ago. This piece, like everything I do, is a search for balance, for peace. These days it's been harder to find, to block out the noise, but I feel I must listen. I think we can all be better listeners. These are changing times and we have to remember to lead by example and treat each other with dignity and respect. Thanks for your support βœŒοΈπŸ’šπŸ¦‹πŸ·

Finally experimenting with snow as an artistic medium here in #Idaho ❄️Inspired by the work of @simonbeck_snowart, I bought my first pair of snow shoes today and promptly lost one underwater on a frozen lake! Got it back though :) Snow and ice present very specific challenges that are totally foreign to my creative process. Andy Goldsworthy operates on a wavelength I have understood for a long time. And working in the cold is opening my eyes. I have made several sculptural, ephemeral artworks that grow or melt or break down over time. Hopefully I can begin to showcase the fragility and complexity of nature. I want to remind people that we are never alone, we are connected to the earth. I hope to become a steward for outdoor open spaces and use some of my time to raise awareness, share some positivity, and #leaveitbetterthanyoufoundit

Today I did a rake piece that said "PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE" next to #PacificCoastHwy. It felt really good to say something specific, that will remind passerby that we can all make a difference in protecting our environment. These are times of dramatic change, and actions speak louder than words. I can't imagine a world without access to nature, so I will continue to create artworks like this which compliment it and hopefully raise awareness that these places are precious and vulnerable. Pick up a piece of trash tomorrow, or ten, because it feels good to #leaveitbetterthanyoufoundit (The work in this image is a piece that doesn't have letters but photographed better) πŸ˜‰
