As you maybe aware parkinsons is something close to my heart. This is amazing and shows the increasing awareness, use, adaptability and benefits of movement training. It was a real pleasure to give a talk to these 3rd year fitness students in @cit_ie including a practical @animalflowofficial workshop. Thanks once again to @cit_ie and Joan Dineen for having me.

Gotta love this kid. Skills.

Sad to be finished delivering the full time intensive courses @trainfitnessint. I have loved my time here and have been lucky enough to start and be part of the fitness journeys of some of the best personal trainers, not only in London but throughout the country. To many to mention. It always makes me smile when groups thank me for the delivery, coaching sessions, (mainly Animal Flow), awareness of industry trends and education when I'm pretty sure I've learnt more from all of you guys. It has been an amazing journey working alongside the best and top trainers in fitness, @fiercefightforfitness who has unparalleled knowledge & skills and @rich_scrivener for the intro to @animalflowofficial among other skills. After 3 years I have a totally different outlook on how & what a trainer should be doing, the value PTs give to people and I will continue to strive and improve the standards across the industry. Thanks all once again.

Working the basic skills. It terms of the traditional periodised training pyramid of endurance, hypertrophy, strength and power we often forget what is possibly the first and most important step. The motor skills. The basic motor skills help us to develop our nervous processes and movement skills which in turn will allow us to progress our functional push/pull patterns more efficiently. I use the above drill in rest periods or between exercises which helps utilise my rest period actively and develops the basic motor skills. Also it's just good fun.

Once again thanks to @rich_scrivener for hosting an @animalflowofficial session for some of the next generation of Personal trainers coming through @trainfitnessint. Some great loaded beasts on show and a great experience for the learners. Thanks to all who attended @fitruth777 @ayakatanimoto @3thanluke.

Congratulations to these guys who smashed their @trainfitnessint level 3 Personal Trainer assessments. Some quality interactive and goal orientated sessions delivered after braving the beast from the east. Well done all.

Did a giant set today on shoulders but used this little Co ordination drill as an active recovery between sets. @_matty_power_ will catch you soon. Use you rest period wisely and keep on top of your motor skills.
