I have had sleep problems for sometime now so I took the opportunity to ask a Somnologist (Sleep expert) yesterday for tips on how I can get the most out of my snooze time. It is a bit challenging since my mind is most active at night.
1. Avoid screens 1-2 hours before your bedtime. The blue light from your electronic devices can disrupt your sleep.
2. Keep your room cool. Most people sleep in a cool room (18°C is the recommended temperature)
3. Create a bed time ritual. This will tell your body its time to wind down.
