When I was younger my parents would call me the unfinished artist because I'd never fully finish my pieces. When I felt it was done - it was done. I guess I always felt that there are layers to art, just like there are layers to people. And just like people are unfinished, art is never really complete. There's beauty the birth of a painting. Being able to see the first mark with my pencil to my last brush stroke. We are all unfinished artists.
