#wcw💍 last week on July 4th my wife ran her first 4 mile race in commemoration of all the freedoms we enjoy here in this beloved country of ours. She ran it in 47.28 as compared to a 5K she ran a couple months ago in 36.04. Still maintained a great pace regardless of the "Negative Nancy" vibes for most of the run, she killed her pace that she had at the 5k! @rexiii_girl
So proud of her and what she manages to do while holding down the fort with our little one.

Haters will say it's fake weights but unless everyone is using the same fake weights than it's not fake. I hit 315 for a few reps right afterwards BUT no video so did it really happen? I'll get one though. This is 295. Major support from the afternoon crew minus my boy @vince_and_lacy to pump me the fuck up.•

Max effort SB lateral throws w/ remaining time.

Build up to 2 rep max: power clean. Hit 225lbs.

3 simple exercises to improve grip strength for #ocr these will not only build grip strength but also grip endurance. 1. Dead hangs on a fat bar. In races it's very unlikely that every set of monkey bars or rig you come to will have the nice small bars usually found in a gym. So find a bar that I thicker than normal, then try and accumulate 5 minutes of hang time. 2. Resistance band or towel pull ups. Swap out your usual bar with a resistance band or towel. 3. Farmers walk. Pick up some heavy dumbbells or kettle bells and go for a walk. Set yourself a target and rest for as little as possible.
