Powerful storms swept through the Indianapolis area on Tuesday. Unfortunately, in the process, Crooked Stick lost its iconic, 150-year-old oak that sat to the right of 6 green. The oak was reportedly key to Pete Dye's routing of the northeast corner of the 1964 course. Here's a photo from a round last September.
