After a long day exploring, nothing beats a strong pour-over out of the back of a little bus.
I like the people in this shot - for scale - but when I'm shooting in a crowd, I always joke with my husband that there's "always a red shirt" in a sea of neutrals that draws your eye. This time - neon. 😄

The Great Buddha in Kamakura. The huge bronze statue was finished around 1252 and was housed in a string of buildings that, one after another, were destroyed in storms (the last, a tsunami in 1498). It's been in open air since.
