Day 4: (full disclosure, I'm a day late!) This past Friday I had a interview with a publication. About 5 minutes before the call, I realized I needed to reach out to a few members who could talk with the interviewer.
And there was a deadline.
So I sent a quick email to four of my members, hoping at least one or two would reply before the end of the day.
To my surprise, they all responded right away with a "Yes, of course," giving times that they could talk that afternoon.
I really shouldn't have been surprised. Each of these women had told me, on other occasions, how much they appreciated the Hera Hub community and how it had made a difference for them and their business.
What I realized is that it sometimes we forget to ask people for their help and support. When we do ask, they give it willingly. Just as I would. Just as you would. But many times we don't even ask.
So today (actually everyday) I am thankful for my member community. They showed me that it's ok to ask for help and support. Actually, it's better than ok.
