Paige in the kitchen, Tim Moran in the living room. Tim is a photo editor from A&E looking through David Cassidy pictures for an upcoming project.

I always say I first met James Taylor when I took his picture for "Sweet Baby James," but this picture proves me wrong. It was taken earlier in the year before SBJ at a beach in Orange County. He was there with his girlfriend at the time, and the three of us hung out by the water at sunset. I don't remember any more about it.

Three little rodeo queens outside the karaoke bar.

Photographing friends last night in the balcony of The Orpheum Theater at Gillian & Dave's show. An epic evening till 5:30a.m.

Two of the very best people and very best musicians I know: Gillian Welch and David Rawlings in the back of a Nashville Pickup. Gillian is a country angel and nobody can make a guitar talk like Dave can. Looking forward to their LA show on October 4th at the Orpheum Theater.

Want to know what it's like to get drunk at a bar with Jim Morrison? Maybe this picture will give you an idea. This might be from the day we went to check out the Morrison Hotel in downtown LA for a future album cover shoot. #thedoors

Here's Phil Collins during the filming of "I Wish It Would Rain Down," which was filmed in black and white. You should watch it on youtube, it's trippy. Behind Phil is Lamont Dozier from Motown. Also, Eric Clapton plays great lead guitar and Lee Sklar is playing an upright bass.

"Sleep Well Tonight America, Joe Walsh Is At The Helm." (...I think that's how it went) Joe used this picture when he announced he was running for President one year in the late 70's. Run again Joe! We need you!!!

Had a great time at our @morrisonhotelgallery Psychedelic Opening party last week. Thanks to all that came 🌈

Taking photos of my dear friend @reillyg_ ❤️

Here's the Byrds working on their reunion album at Wally Heider's studio. Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman in the background. I don't know why they let Crosby push the buttons. I always remember there was a song called "The Wagoner's Lad" with McGuinn playing 5 string banjo, that never got put on the album. It was my favorite song. #thebyrds

You know Joni was a painter before she was a singer. Here she is painting AFTER she became a singer. I took this photo in 1984 for a book project called 24 hours in the life of LA. Joni had a little beach cottage that she used for painting. Her paintings are as interesting as her songs. #jonimitchell
