▪️Shred life vs Bulk life▪️
✔️Look great naked.
✔️Photoshoot ready anytime anywhere.
✔️People admiring. ❌Hangry all the time.
❌Can't get a good sleep.
❌Weak and tired all the time.
❌Gym performance sucks.
❌Feel small and flat.
✔️Great pump in gym.
✔️Strong and energetic.
✔️Able to make progress in gym performance.
✔️Enjoy life a little better.
✔️Healthy hormones level.
❌Kinda demotivating if you got too fat.
❌Need a perfect lighting and angles to get a shot where you don't look fat.
❌Unable to show off your body because everything is covered by fats. (Look buff in clothes though)
That being said, it's sure good looking shredded and getting people to admire your physique. Turning heads in the gym. Feels like a superhero when looking in the mirror. BUT...it is not sustainable and unhealthy to stay in a low body fat % for prolonged period of time. Besides that, never forget that the real progress is made when we are in a caloric surplus. Muscles are build in a surplus of nutrients and calories. "Shred" as the term suggests is to shred off excess fat and uncovered what's beneath. If you have not enough muscles mass to begin with, then there's no point in shredding down. For your long term physique goals, staying shredded year round is not a good thing. Just don't bulk till you are totally out of shape and feel like you are a piece of fat potato. Remember to LOVE yourself in each and every stage.
