The horse and I both thought Madeline had said something very funny.

This year was full of adventures new and old :) some of my favorites were:
Becoming a GODMOTHER to lovely little Mia Rose!
Finding out that I don't kill every plant!
The Kalamazoo Farmers Market is magical!
Having a kitty is so lovely!
Working at a library is a fantastic job for me!
Madeline makes my life so wonderful!
And lastly, that there are so many wonderful places in the world I have yet to visit with my love, as we follow sweet Jesus as long as He has us here ❤️

Went through some of my grandparents' old photos yesterday, and I found this gem from when I was 4. I miss that doggo.

Tumnus' first snow!

World, meet Tumnus! Aaron and I had been talking for a long time about getting a therapy animal as an alternative treatment for my anxiety, and when we found this guy, we knew we needed to take those steps! It took about a month to get all the requirements that our landlord put in place for a therapy animal done (two of those weeks he was staying with my mom and dad-THANK YOU!) and today, we FINALLY got to bring him home! If you or someone you know has anxiety, I highly recommend thinking about this option! Meds and counseling didn't really work for me, and my anxiety attacks mostly happen when I am alone, which is why Tumnus is the perfect medicine! Come visit our little family sometime!

Happy December from the children's librarian at the cutest little library you ever did see! 🎄

A beautiful day for a walk with this cool kid 😊

Aaron picked me up from work to get some lunch together, and instead, one of our sweet friends fed us :) so happy to be a part of this family of families!

His name is Tumnus, and we get to bring him home in hopefully a week and a half :)

Brothers making bread 😊 #friendsgiving

These sweet bros. They grew up close, and I didn't come into the picture until later. But over the last few years, I have seen them grow together. I have so many words to express my gratefulness for their friendship that I wouldn't even know where to start. It is so encouraging watching them set up camp in different spots of my home, studying, learning, and sharing together. My heart is full. ❤
