Calendula shortbread with saffron details. πŸ’› Was in the middle of a baking session this morning when I heard about the shootings at the @ups facility here in San Francisco. I'm thinking of all the individuals we interact with when we drop off @quitokeeto shipments there regularly. UPS ships nearly all our boxes, thousands over the past five years, we rely on them, see them everyday, and value the friendship of our regular pick-up drivers over the years. Thinking of all of them right now.

Lunch : I get that this looks like a brown-pocolypse, but it was so good! Layered caramelized onions, red spicesπŸ’₯, lots of garlic, chopped olives, an obscene amount of chopped spinach & herbs, and saffron/brown basmati rice in the #donabe the other night. Made this soup for quick lunch today with the leftovers - just added water / salt / big squeeze of πŸ‹πŸ‘ŒπŸΌβœ¨ + a poached egg.

Lots of herbs pulsed with ricotta salata, stuffed into some za'atar bread I picked up. Pinched the open side closed, and baked it like a calzone. πŸ’₯πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
