I don’t care who you are. What you look like. I don’t care what you’ve been told at the grocery store. I don’t even care how fit you are.
All of it’s irrelevant if YOU aren’t okay with what you see.
I have been on every spectrum of the scale. I have been nasty skinny, I have been extremely fat (post baby) I have been fit, I have muscular, & I have been “average”
None of which I ever recall being genuinely happy. Not once, not one damn time. Maybe for a split moment when I was cutting weight & I looked like a damn goodness. (But you still don’t fit in freaking clothes right...)
I look at this picture & im pleased. I’m not muscular, I’m not fat, I’m not skinny. I’m just kind of me. I fit into clothes I haven’t worn in years, jeans actually fit me, my arms fit into long sleeve shirts🙌🏼 but I’ve also got the soft squishy mom skin here and there, I’ve got the total mom boobs (i❤️them) I’ve got the glimpse of cellulite depending on what lighting or angle you catch me at.
I don’t always look great, I don’t always feel great. But today I just want to remind you. We all wake up some days feeling fat, bloated & just flat out gross. Some days we wake up feeling amazing.
Though I wish I had a knockout bod & I could give my man that flat stomach, toned arms, ghetto booty like Everyman wants deep down. instead I choose to give him this rocking bod, with a ton of complaints about it, a scream atleast twice a day DONT LOOK, & of course an unconditional love where our two souls mesh & nothing else matters.
Find your happy. It’s not always in the gym & it’s not always at the bottom of a meal prep container. Sometimes it’s in your heart & your mind. There’s a million ways to look good & feel good. Find yours, skinny, thick, fit, muscular or just mom bod! 🤷🏼♀️😌
