Soooo these bad boys are my favorite #grocerystore buys from the week. Vegan @kashi crackers, veggies and hummus (it’s on sale right now 😉) from @simpletruth4u a delicious ginger lemon probiotic drink from @kevitadrinks and of course the real star this week chocolate granola from @purely_elizabeth The cool thing about all of these items is that you can get them at pretty much any grocery store and they’re really easy to find! I’ll be keeping a running list of my favorite grocery store finds on my profile so you won’t ever miss one! 😬

Keeping with the one fruit or veggie with every meal...blueberries! I feel like breakfast is one of the hardest meals to incorporate some kind of veggie or fruit. Fruit is always a great option! For breakfast try to pick fruits with a #lowglycemic index like blueberries, grapefruit, pears, or cherries. This helps to ease your body out of a fasting state with out spiking your sugar levels and then giving you a crash later. I also added @purely_elizabeth chocolate granola, @vitalproteins collagen peptides, and @teraswhey vanilla protein powder yuuuuuumm.

Between the dog and the tiny human I think it’s safe to say I’ll never have to eat alone. I decided I’m going to eat at least one veggie or fruit with every meal this month. Who wants to join me?! This is a great way to up your healthy food game! This morning I’m eating avo toast made with @labreabakery bread and @simplyorganicfoods tomatoes

I’d say our first trip to Scheels or as I now call it Sheelsland was a success. There is so much stuff in there! It’s like REI, Dicks, and Cabellas had a baby 😱 Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood! #lfthx

It feels good to be back in the kitchen again even if it's not my own. Now that it's a little bit chilly I'm prepared to make all things pasta! This recipe has a surprise ingredient... @maunaloamacnut !!! Macadamia nuts add a delicious nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with the garlic and tomatoes. #MLRecipecontest
Recipe below!

1/2 pkg spaghetti
2 cup cherry tomatoes
1/2 red onion minced
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 bunch spinnach
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mauna loa macadamia nuts
2 tbsp dried basil
olive oil
kosher sea salt

Pre-heat oven to 350. On a pan place tomatoes and drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in oven until tomatoes begin to wilt and blister. Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions. In a pan over medium heat saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent. Add spinach macadamia nuts and basil to the mixture, season with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Saute until spinach wilts. Mix together spinach mixture, cheese and spaghetti and place tomatoes on top. Enjoy!
