Good Morning Instafam! I hope you managed to complete yesterday's reps, as seen above is the reps for today's exercise routines. Please note that you can have a REST DAY today if you feel achy then continue tomorrow to complete on SATURDAY. You can exercise at anytime of the day (morning, afternoon or evening). Do take as much breaks as needed, you do not have to complete all reps in one go, you can also spread the squat routine throughout the day if you cannot do all at once.

LEVEL & SETS
Beginners: 1 Set
Intermediate: 2 Sets
Advance: 3 Sets

JUMP ROPE:
-- you can swap your jump rope for JUMPING JACKS if you prefer.
-- break down into sets of 5 or more and take 30 seconds break before starting again.
-- if you do not have a skipping rope, you can do an imaginary jump rope without using a skipping rope.

The best breakfast bites!

Oatmeal Parfait Cups
Servings: 12

INGREDIENTS
2 ripe bananas, sliced
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon almond extract
1¼ cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Full-fat yogurt

Topping Options:
Raspberries
Blueberries
Strawberries
Sliced almonds

PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 350°F/175°C.
2. In a medium bowl, mash the bananas into a paste.
3. Pour in the honey and almond extract, and mix until well combined.
4. Sprinkle on the rolled oats and cinnamon and mix until incorporated.
5. Evenly divide the oats into a greased 12-cup muffin tin.
6. Use your fingers to mold the oats into a cup shape in each of the muffin cups.
7. Bake for 15 minutes, until the oatmeal cups have set.
8. Remove the oatmeal cups from the muffin tin and place them on a serving plate.
9. Place a spoonful of yogurt in each cup and top with your choice of toppings.
10. Enjoy!

We all know that too much SUGAR is not good for our health but at the same time we do not want to miss out on having a bit of sweetness in our meals such as porridge oats. Here is a simple RECIPE to make your own homemade DATE PUREE/PASTE to add to your oats and baking.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup pitted dates - without seed
½ cup very hot water

DIRECTION
Combine dates and hot water in a bowl and let sit for 1 minute. Massage with fingers to help soften. Place dates and all the liquid in a blender and process for 30 seconds or until completely smooth. Store in a closed container in the fridge.

USES OF DATE PUREE
Try a spoonful of date puree mixed into a glass of pure water with a squeeze of lemon for a natural, simple energy boost before a workout. Or try it out for a healthy spread on your bread or pancake instead of syrup.
