View from the hotel.
Had a scare last night when we arrived by train (only 5 people on board the train). The whole train station and town was quiet. Not a single soul. We had to go around looking for someone to direct us to the Hotel.
Finally after waiting for 1hour, the shuttle bus arrived to bring us to the Aurland Fjord Hotel. Again there was totally no one at the hotel except for a note instructing us to go to our room. Breakfast again was via instruction on the note and until 2pm, we have not seen a single person in the hotel.
I called the hotel staff (via handphone, there is no hotel phone) to ask him why is it so difficult to get around the area. He replied: "Welcome to Norway!" Indeed. 😒
