Been changing my training routine up this past week and dang it feels GOOD. Been a minute since i followed a strict program. Sometimes I crave that structure, other times I just need some freedom. But progressive overload is always the main focus. Just taking things day by day and being patient with results. ✨

Finally getting a solid routine down. Work 8-5 train 7-9 (my gym is hella packed at night) then squeeze in time with my Ivy girl. Wouldn’t change it for a minute though. Never will I be the one to say i’m too busy for a training session. This keeps me sane 😅

There’s about 2 years and 20+lbs between these pics. I started fitness not really knowing what i was trying to accomplish.. I was doing WAY too much cardio, under eating like crazy and not lifting heavy weights. But at the time i didn’t know.. like most of us. We think we know, but we really don’t. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ,
FAST FOWARD ⏩ over the past couple of years i’ve gained more knowledge than just fitness. I’ve learned so much about myself, my body and my limits. I’ve (definitely) had ups and downs but still, every day i wake up im more motivated and blessed to be able to continue this passion i have for such an amazing sport. I love what i do, it’s more than just lifting weights for me. This is truly my therapy. People ask me all the time why i workout alone and that’s the truth.. this is “me” time. Put my headphones in and just lift heavy ass weights, there is truly no better feeling in the world to me. 🖤
There’s no end goal in mind for me because this will forever be my passion. Never gonna settle. #livefit #lvft

🍑🍑🍑 First off sorry for the awk angles on some of these, IG decided to zoom in super close.. ANYWAY
You don’t have to be in the gym for hours to get a good workout in y’all. This was only 5 movements and I left barely walking 🤷🏼‍♀️ sooo try it out
1️⃣ Ham/Glute Raises - This is HARD but it’s a movement i really want to get good at. I started out using a lat pulldown attachment and worked my way to using just the ball. Make sure when you come up squeeeze the glutes
2️⃣ Lying Db curls - Drive your hips into the bench and (as always) squeeze the booty at the top 😅
3️⃣ Adductors - Not videoed
4️⃣ Cable Kickbacks
5️⃣ Curtsey lunges SS w/ banded side to sides- For the lunges make sure your focusing on using your glutes to come up instead of your quads. Also used @mbslingshot band and I think I cramped after each set 🤙🏽
