Halifax Circus Friends!
Here are my class descriptions for the next 4 week session! I'm taking this opportunity to dive into some specialized skills (less conditioning) and create a class opportunity for complete beginners (gradual conditioning), and for that reason these classes are only 1 hour and $100. Starting Wednesday June 28th
Aerial Throw Back (8 pm-9pm): An intermediate level silks class class featuring backward falling drops set to throwback music from the 90s and early 2000s. Gain the ability and confidence to send your body backwards to initiate dynamic movements and drops, while jamming to some old favorites.
Pre-requistes: climbs, aerial inversion, aerial hip key
Unlocking your Hip Key(7 pm- 8 pm): An intermediate level class silks/rope (basic + students by approval) focusing on perfecting and building our hip key skill. Whether you are new to this skill, or looking for new sequences to work with, this class aims to level up your technique and create transititon opportunities in this core skill.
Pre-requisites: climbing, at least one solid method into hip key would be considered an asset
Ultimate Beginners (6pm-7pm): A special summer series for folks looking for a slower introduction to aerial trapeze and silks. This class will move at a slower pace and focus on building bicep, lat, and core strength through simple movements and skills on the apparatus. Perfect for anyone who "swears they could never do aerials".
