👋 hello bright, ashy, blonde bob. One of my favorites!

First session balayage success.

Happy Summer! For those wanting to go light this summer this is a reminder that 4 different base colors yield 4 very different results when it comes to hair painting. Where you are starting from is the number one factor in how light you will leave in one session. How much color deposit is a huge factor as this can slow down the lightening process. I know we see so many beautiful before and afters on the internet but what is often not shown are all the stages in between getting to those beautiful bright blonde goals. Just thought I would share to help manage expectations. ☺️☀️

Here is a peak at how I paint.. The end result is my last post. I took Nancy from dark brown to Bronde by insulating the balayage with a foil. I brick layed wide plank sections up the back. I always wear gloves when I balayage because I find I'm more likely to use my fingers to blend when necessary plus I like to use my open palm as my pallet to paint the ends. My brush is of course @framarint.

The definition of the perfect summer Bronde right here! @nancy_nicole1026

Throwback to this chocolate brown hair goddess.

Fresh cut and color for Cathy. Angle like whoa. 📐

I am usually all about that wave but sometimes I love the straight look of that blend. 😍

Do you like seeing processing pics? I personally do! I love wide plank placement because although it can look scary, it fans out so beautifully leaving you with popping highlights. ✨

Transformation Tuesday! I was surprised at how light I was able to get Kate in one session. When I checked on the foils I noticed the roots and midshaft were lifting beautifully but the ends were not coming up as fast. A little tricky 🤔. I used two toning formulas. I added some gold back into her roots with 9/03 and used a 12/222 (a triple blue) with clear to tone her ends. All @jbeverlyhills . Her next session I will focus on lightening those ends one more time.

I have a winner to my 1k follower contest from a few weeks ago! I used a computer generated program and it picked @rmeyer719! Thank you to those who entered and stay tuned for more giveaways! ✨

Lob life💁🏼. 2nd balayage session has Amanda brightened just in time for summer! ☀️
