People ask me if it's fun being a wedding hair stylist. It's a loaded question. Do I love getting up at 4am in winter to travel over an hour to a bridal party in the rain? Do I love the plantation fascitis I am suffering with in my left foot? Do I love working full-time during the week and then all weekend doing hair? Do I love not drinking or staying up late on Saturday nights as I have an early morning Sunday wedding? Do I love the muscle pain in my back resulting in this cupping from yesterday? Short answer no it's not always fun. But I LOVE every second of it. Why else would I still be doing it after 17 years. I love seeing excited brides on their special day. I love seeing them happy with how beautiful they look. I love being able to try new things with photo shoots. I love seeing my work in a glossy magazine or online publication. I love meeting models photographers and wedding vendors and making friends with them. I love surprising myself sometimes with what I create. If you love what you do then it's not work. #hairstyling#hairstylist#weddinghairstylist#weddinghair#perthweddingvendors#perthweddinghairstylist#lovewhatyoudo
