Don’t fall victim to the quick fix mentality. There’s no secret to making quick gains. It comes through setting goals, and training hard every week with the purpose of achieving those goals. Train hard, train consistently, and be in it for the long haul.
🎯 Focus on the basics.
Prioritize the old school, efficient muscle building exercises -- squats, presses, deadlifts, rows, chin-ups, dips & other the big, multi-joint movements. Don’t sweat the small stuff & start overthinking things. At the end of the day, it won’t matter too much if you did your triceps pushdowns with a V-bar, or a EZ-bar attachment.
πŸ’Š There’s no magic pill or supplement that's going to pack on slabs of muscle & burn fat.
Anything that promises quick results with minimal effort is usually πŸ‚πŸ’©
πŸ„ Eat enough food & keep track of it --
Some people are surprised to find out how much they actually eat. Maintain a diet of mostly whole foods & consume plenty of protein -- one gram per pound of bodyweight πŸ‘Œ
Supplements can be a convenient way to add calories, or provide a small performance boost, but can’t take the place of real food and good training.
