I didn't want to believe that people see me as a very soft, sweet girl who can't even break a plate, until I was able to have my first climb. I realized I'm still a weakling. Well, thanks to that friend who inspired me to go climbing and travel to different places. He is able to balance his social life, work, and spiritual life and that's pretty amazing.
I've got strict parents (my dad's a pastor and a former soldier so yeah 😅). I just can't go out of town without them knowing all the details of my travel and who's I'm with. But now, I think they've seen me grow and I'm so thankful they're not that strict anymore.
Climbing a mountain has taught me so many things like sharing your bottled water to others (man, I'm so 'laway' conscious)! I am also able to walk under the sun now w/o using the umbrella. So yeah, climbing made me a simple yet strong person. The girl who always use doll shoes before has now 2 pairs of hiking shoes! Another thing, climbing has taught me to love the nature more and appreciate the country where I live. It made me love the people who loves the nature, too.
How about you? What's your #climbstory ? 💚
