This all started with a $2k truck, some basic tools, a little knowledge and a lot of drive. Going out on my own and starting a business was scary and not really a decision that was supported by my family. I was 21 years old and had nothing to lose. I worked my butt off everyday, learned everything I could and invested back into the business. None of it was easy but I never gave up. In 2008 I was stuck holding two spec homes when the economy crashed. Times got tough, but we pushed through everyday. The homes eventually sold and we have grown to be a better and more stable company ever since. I don't regret any of my decisions and have learned from everything I have done. I love construction and working with my hands. There are many days I miss driving that old beat up Ford and throwing a tool belt on, but that is no longer my role in the company. I am blessed to be where I'm at but nothing was handed to me. I believe if you get up everyday, work hard and treat people right, your efforts will be rewarded.
